What's a Photon?​​​

A Photon is the fundamental particle of light and other electromagnetic radiation. A photon has no mass, no electric charge and acts as a quantum of energy. It travels at the speed of light and exhibits both wave-like and particle-like properties.I.e: Wavelenght and Momentum.​

Its energy is directly proportional to its frequency : E=hγ, where h is Planck's constant and γ is the frequency.​

What's a Laser?

The term LASER comes from an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation, which describes the process used to create a laser's focused beam of light.

 

This process involves exciting atoms or molecules in a particular medium to release photons, which are then amplified and directed into a single, highly coherent, and parallel beam.
